16 Vastu Zones Explained - Â Complete Energy Mapping for a Harmonious Home
Zone reference
16 ZONES zone Advanced Vastu on the compass. Governed by Multi-deity grid.
The 16-zone model structural overview
Two sub-zones per main direction, 16 zones total.
Why 16 and not 8
Each cardinal direction (N, S, E, W) and each corner (NE, SE, SW, NW) has two distinct halves one closer to the center, one closer to the outer edge. These halves have different energetic signatures and respond to different remedies.
Angular division
Each main direction spans 45°. Dividing in half creates 22.5° zones. The first zone is 0-22.5° from a cardinal point; the second is 22.5-45°. This matches classical Vastu Mandala divisions.
Zone nomenclature
Zones are named by their primary direction + their position (inner/outer or first/second). For example: N1 (North-inner), N2 (North-outer), or N-Kuber (wealth focus), N-Vayavya (air-wind focus).
Why use the 16-zone model
Precision remedy placement: a defect in N1 needs different remedies than N2. Compound defects across zone boundaries (e.g., NE1 + E2) reveal specific life-area impacts invisible in the 8-direction model.
