A copper helix is a spiral coil fixed on the wall of the south east zone to correct an Agneya kon defect without breaking anything. It is used when the south east corner is cut, extended, or occupied by a toilet, bedroom or water tank. Copper carries the fire element, so it re-energises the zone the defect has weakened. Three pieces cover one wall.
When you need a copper helix
The south east (Agneya kon) governs the fire element in vastu shastra. It rules the kitchen, cash flow, digestion and the energy of the women in the house. When this zone is compromised, the traditional reading is arguments over money, delayed payments and restlessness. The copper helix is the standard non-demolition correction Nitien Parmar prescribes on site.

How to install a copper helix
- Take the direction with a vastu compass standing at the centre of the home, not at the doorway.
- Mark the south east wall. Fix the helix at roughly 5 feet from floor level, spiral facing outward into the room.
- Use the double-sided pad supplied, or a single small screw. Do not embed it inside the wall.
- Space multiple pieces about 1 foot apart along the same wall, not stacked.
- Leave it permanently. A copper helix is not removed or recharged.

Frequently asked questions
Does the copper helix need any puja or activation?
No. It works on placement, not ritual. Fix it in the correct zone and leave it. If you prefer, you may wipe it with clean water before fixing.
Can I use a copper helix for a south west defect?
No. South west takes lead. Using the wrong metal in a zone does not correct the defect. Match the metal to the zone using the table above.
3 pieces or 9 pieces?
Three pieces cover one standard wall in a residential flat. Nine pieces are for a bungalow, a large corner cut, a commercial floor, or when the same defect appears on multiple floors.
Will it turn black?
Copper oxidises. A darker surface is normal and does not change how the remedy works. Do not polish it with chemicals.
Do I need a vastu consultation before buying?

Fix the helix to the wall at the affected corner, roughly 6 to 7 feet above floor level, with the coil facing into the room. One piece covers a single defect in a standard room. A 3-piece set is used where the defect runs across a larger area, an extended or cut corner, or a toilet placed in the wrong quadrant. Installation is on the inner wall surface, not outdoors.

A north-east toilet is treated in Vastu as a significant defect, and relocating it is the only structural correction. Where relocation is not possible, a zinc helix is the standard non-structural remedy used by Vastu practitioners, normally alongside keeping the toilet dry and well ventilated, keeping the lid and door closed, and placing a bowl of rock salt that is replaced weekly. This is traditional practice rather than a construction fix, and it does not change the plumbing.
