Shree Yantra, also written Shri Yantra or Sri Yantra, is the yantra most widely kept in Indian homes. It is traditionally kept for prosperity and general wellbeing, usually in the prayer space or the North. Every piece here is energised before dispatch under the guidance of Vastu expert Nitien Parmar.
Which Shree Yantra to choose
Correct direction matters more than size, so start with where the yantra will sit.
| Form | Options in this collection | Suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Meru (3D) | Gold-plated brass, 1.5 inch; Shriparni wood, 3, 4 and 6 inch | The home temple or the North East puja zone. Gold-plated pieces are chosen for gifting and prayer rooms. |
| Flat | Mix metal in multi colour, 3 x 3 inch, in a presentation box; Shriparni wood, 5 x 5 inch | The puja room, locker or cash box. |
| Sphatik (crystal) | Natural quartz Shri Yantra, 20 to 30 g; Sphatik Shri Yantra on a Shriparni wood plate | The puja space, where Sphatik is traditionally used for clarity of intent and a calm, clean atmosphere. |
| Framed | Shree Yantra, 3 x 3 inch, framed; Asthalakshmi Shree Yantra, framed | Home and office. Keep framed pieces dry. |
The collection also includes a crystal grid on a Shri Yantra plate and the Sampoorna Shri Yantra Kuber Bhandar, a set of 12 yantras that includes a Shri Yantra. Not sure which one fits your home? Book a Vastu consultation before you buy.
Where to place a Shree Yantra
- North: keep it in the North of your puja space, or at the locker or cash box. North is Kuber's direction, the zone of career flow, opportunity and money movement.
- North East: keep it in the North East puja zone for daily worship. North East (Ishanya) is the zone of clarity, spirituality and fresh energy.
- Cash box or locker: a small yantra can sit inside your cash box, locker or wallet.
- Height: keep it on a clean, raised surface, above waist height.
- Avoid: the floor, the bathroom, a store room and the space below a staircase.
How and when to install it
- Clean the yantra and the surface, then place it as described above.
- Light a diya or incense and set your intention once, in a single clear sentence. No elaborate ritual is required.
- Formal pran pratishtha is optional and depends on your own tradition.
- Repeat the activation on Diwali, Dhanteras or any day that matters to you.
Dhanteras and Diwali 2026
Dhanteras falls on Friday, 6 November 2026, and Diwali (Lakshmi Puja) on Sunday, 8 November 2026. A Shree Yantra is a common gift for both, and for griha pravesh (housewarming) and shop or office openings. It ships in protective packing and can be sent directly to the recipient, so order early if it must arrive before Dhanteras.
Caring for your Shree Yantra
- Mix metal and framed pieces: wipe with a soft dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Do not use water on the frame, print or mounting, and keep framed pieces away from damp and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Sphatik and crystal pieces: keep away from harsh chemicals and prolonged direct sunlight, which can fade natural Sphatik.
